More on ECT – TV Episode happened upon

Hello Friends.  I don’t know if you’re interested or not, but we’ve opened discussion on ECT (electroconvulsive therapy) in the past and because it remains open, I wanted you to know that I just ran across this TV episode online that is done surprisingly well.  Check it out and let us know what your thoughts are.  Keep on.

  1. I have commented on the ECT protocol before and remain convinced that it is barbaric. Kinda like Aztec “open heart” surgery. On the other hand I consider radiation and chemo for cancer as barbaric too. I am not a clinical research doctor so I do not really have the credentials to make certified assessments but I would say I have enough education to make qualified assessments. Alternative medicine(non allopathic) has been employed with increasing efficacy esp orthomolecular medicine and Chinese medicine et.al. with less damaging side effects if any. In the long run I have to concede that as long as the care professional has integrity and governs oneself by “do no harm” I must respect the effort whether it is radiation, chemo or ECT that we can do our best only with the tools we have available in today’s medical world.

  2. I saw that episode the other day, and it just made me want to try it more. In fact, the three people closest to me in my life saw it as well, and all agreed that I would be a great candidate. Thank you for keeping the discussions going about it. 🙂
